Master Plan Steering Committee (Ad Hoc)
MASTER PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE
The Master Plan Steering Committee was established for the purpose of assisting the Planning Board in the preparation of a comprehensive Master Plan (update) for the Town of Northbridge.
In accordance with MGL Ch 41 Sec 81D, a Master Plan is a community vision that helps establish long-term decision-making guidance for its physical development; including land use, housing, open space, recreation, economic development, transportation, and community/public facilities.
The Northbridge Planning Board has identified updating the Master Plan as a priority for 2025, having secured municipal & grant funds to engage the services of a consultant (CMRPC) to help prepare this important document.
The Master Plan Steering Committee shall be charged with overseeing this initiative in cooperation with the Planning Board. The Steering Committee shall host public workshops and meetings, where individual members may be assigned to sub-committees to focus on specific aspects of the Master Plan.
