Assessors

The Assessor's office is responsible for the determination of fair market value of all real and personal property within the community. In addition to the administration of real estate tax exemptions and abatements, the Assessor's office processes vehicle excise abatements. Excise tax originates in the MA State Registry of Motor Vehicles and are generated when a vehicle is registered.
