Parking Lot Pick Up Begins June 8

Whitinsville Social Library is pleased to provide pick up of Library materials starting Monday June 8.

Place Whitinsville Social Library items on hold through your online library account at http://whitnsvlle.cwmars.org/, emailing requests to whitinsvillelibrary@cwmars.org, or by calling the library at 508-234-2151. Statewide interlibrary loan is not yet available so be sure to search the catalog for Whitinsville Social Library items only.

Once library staff have gathered the available items requested, you will get a phone call to schedule a time for you to pick up your items.

To all patrons who currently have items on the holds shelf, the Library will call you starting Thursday morning to schedule an appointment for pick up.

At your appointed time, park in the library’s back parking lot. Best access to the back lot is through the driveway on Church Street. Park your car. Enter through the library’s backdoor. On the table will be a labeled brown paper bag with your checked out requests. Grab it and you’re all set! Exit your vehicle through the Village Congregational Church’s parking lot to Church Street or Cottage Street.

If your requests are not picked up on time we will hold it inside and call to reschedule another pickup time.

If you don't have a specific title in mind, Library staff are happy to select books, DVDs, magazines, or other library items for you based on interest, theme, availability, and/or your child’s age. Wowbrary is updated weekly with the library’s newest additions. Some items and kits in our Library of Things are available to borrow. Various seeds are also available upon request.

If you have returns, put them in the book drop. Do not place them in the back lobby. No items are due until July 1. All overdue fines on WSL items returned to WSL are forgiven through August 31.

If you do not have a library account please register online for a temporary card at https://tinyurl.com/WSLCardSignUp. If you need to update your phone number please do so on your CWMARS account. If you were unable to access your account, please call the library.

Guidelines

  • Pick up times will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:15 AM- 4:45 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 10:15 AM- 7:45 PM, and Saturday 10:15 AM - 1:45 PM.
  • Please do not request more than 20 items per family. Please only request one pick up per day.
  • Staff will wear gloves and masks when preparing your requests.
  • All items returned will be quarantined for 72 hours prior to check in and circulating.
  • Parking Lot Pick Up will end once the library building can reopen to the public. Date is pending.
