Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park -General Management Plan (public meeting series)

The National Park Services (NPS) is beginning a comprehensive planning effort for the Blackstone Valley National Historical Park (including for Whitinsville).  The results will be a general management plan that will help guide decisions for long-range park management.

The NPS will host a series of virtual public meetings:

  • January 02, 2022 at 11:00 AM -Public Meeting 
  • January 20, 2022 at 8:00 PM -Public Meeting 
  • January 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM -Meeting on topic of Cultrual Resources 

Public meeting series is aimed to solicit input from the public in general and specific interest groups on how the NPS should structure the management and operations of Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park in the foreseeable future. 

The National Park Service will be posting links to these virtual / online meetings at NPS -PEPC (Planning, Environmental & Public Comment) "Blackstone River Valley NHP General Management Plan" closer to the scheduled time of each meeting.

Beginning on January 3, 2021 you will also be able to make public comments about the Management Plan at the website above even if you are not able to attend one of the meetings.
