Northbridge Memorial Town Hall –Restoration Work
In 2011 (Round 17) a matching-grant ($15,000) was awarded from Mass Historical Commission to Northbridge for the preparation of the following documents (pre-development funds):

In 2012 (Round 18) a matching-grant ($45,000) was awarded from Mass Historical Commission to Northbridge specific to window restoration (development funds):

The Community Planning & Development is administering the Massachusetts Historical Commission’s MPPF -Mass Preservation Projects Fund Grant (Rounds 17 & 18); in total the town has been awarded $60,000 in matching-grant funds for the Northbridge Memorial Town Hall Restoration Project.
McGinley Kalsow & Associates, Inc., under the general direction of the Building, Planning & Construction Committee has been contracted to oversee all construction/restoration (window & non-window). Restoration work is scheduled to commence this fall and shall continue through the winter & next spring.

In action taken October 09, 2012 the Northbridge Historical Commission voted (5-0) to approve the original exterior color scheme for the Town Hall. As part of the restoration project, the Northbridge Memorial Town Hall will be painted its original historic paint color.

Campbell Construction Group LLC (Peabody, MA) has been selected to perform the window restoration work on the Northbridge Memorial Town Hall –scheduled to commence in February & completed by the end of June 2013. McGinley Kalsow & Associates, Inc (architects) shall oversee the restoration work.
