HISTORY TALK "KOREA: THE FORGOTTEN WAR", Sat, Apr 9 @ 2 pm

-A A +A

On Saturday, April 9th at 2 pm, the Whitinsville Social Library is hosting Dan LeClerc as he gives a history presentation on “Korea: the Forgotten War.”

About: What were the events in 1950-1953 which escalated this dangerous conflict in faraway Korea and which caused both President Truman and General Douglas MacArthur to actively consider making use of nuclear bombs? This presentation will trace the origin of this conflict, the strategic successes and failures which led to a stalemate and which continues to this day to present a threat to peace and stability in East Asia. Generations of American soldiers have now been stationed in Korea. Come find out why & how it all began.

Join us for this return engagement for Dan LeClerc after his excellent talk on World War I last year.   Free & Open to the public.
