The Northbridge Board of Health has just been awarded a "mini-grant" from the Massachusetts Association of Health Boards to conduct youth compliance checks at all establishments licensed for retail tobacco sales. With the availability of funding, the Board is able to hire a consultant to conduct youth compliance checks during the months of November and December. Upon completion of required documentation of these checks, the Town will automatically receive funding for a second round of youth compliance checks beginning in January of 2006.
