PROPERTY TAX WORK-OFF PROGRAM

WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM?

· Seniors who qualify and have appropriate skills, volunteer their services to the Town.

· They are then matched with volunteer positions that have been offered by various Town Departments.

· Upon completion of approximately 93 hours of work, a tax credit of $750 will be applied to their property tax bill.

· Seniors must own and occupy the property for which Northbridge Real Estate taxes are paid.

· Seniors must meet certain eligibility requirements.

· Revised Income Limits: $30,000 single / $40,000 couple

NOW $45,000 single / $60,000 couple

This new program can help you reduce the cost of your property taxes and you will be helping the Town as well.
