WARNING FOR CYANOBACTERIA (blue-green algae) IN RILEY POND

The Northbridge Board of Health is issuing a public health advisory for Cyanobacteria in Riley Pond.

The algae bloom has the appearance of pea soup and is capable of producing toxins that can be dangerous to humans and pets.

People and pets should avoid contact in areas of algae concentration. Do not swallow the water and be sure to rinse off after any contact.
