PERSONNEL BOARD 

NOTICE OF VACANCIES 

THE TOWN OF NORTHBRIDGE’S PERSONNEL BOARD CURRENTLY HAS FOUR (4) VACANT POSITIONS.  OUR BYLAWS REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO (2) MEMBERS BE QUALIFIED BY REASON OF EXPERIENCE IN PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION.

THE PERSONNEL BOARD IS A 5-MEMBER BOARD THAT SERVES AS AN ADVISORY BOARD TO THE TOWN MANAGER.  ITS PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY IS TO DEVELOP AND RECOMMEND A PERSONNEL POLICY TO BE APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN AND ADMINISTERED BY THE TOWN MANAGER.

THE PERSONNEL POLICY IS REVIEWED FROM TIME TO TIME.  ANY PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO SAID POLICY MUST FIRST BE DISCUSSED AT A DULY ADVERTISED PUBLIC HEARING HELD BY THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN AT WHICH EMPLOYEES AND THE PUBLIC MAY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPRESS THEIR VIEWS WITH RESPECT TO ANY PROPOSED AMENDMENTS.
